Eruv
In partnership with Kehilat Pardes in Aspen Hill, Tikvat Israel works to maintain an Eruv around the community with the help of volunteers. The Eruv is under the supervision of Rabbi Uri Topolosky, as advised by Rabbi Yaakov Love, a Dayan in Passaic, NJ. The Eruv is checked every week.
Eruv Status: You can assume the Eruv is up.
In the event that the Eruv goes down, we will communicate on social media, and endeavor to change a page on our website with an alert. In addition, there is an Eruv status light located in the front of the Berman Hebrew Academy’s Sylvia Ely Auditorium, 13300 Arctic Avenue, Rockville, MD 20853. This light is turned on just before Shabbat each week.
Green Light ON = THE ERUV IS UP
Green Light OFF = NO ERUV
*unless otherwise announced in shul.
