Netivot: Tikvat Israel Religious School Registration Form

Registration is open for Netivot, Tikvat Israel's religious school!

We are now accepting enrollment for rising Kindergarten and First Grade students for the 2023-2024 academic year. At Netivot, we cultivate a love of Judaism through experiential, play-based instruction.

Please complete the following registration form and submit the $50 per child non-refundable deposit to secure your child(ren)'s spot for the upcoming school year. Families who register by July 31, 2023 will have the deposit credited toward the $750 annual tuition, which can be paid in two segments. Financial aid is available (see details below).

If you are not able to use the online form or have additional questions, please contact Judy Stern (judymstern7@gmail.com)
Preliminary Information

Note: This does NOT impact tuition

If you are interested in learning more about Tikvat Israel, someone from our Membership Committee will be glad to get in touch with you!

Section A: Family Contact Information

For purposes of this form, Adult 1 refers to the person filling out the form. Adult 2 is used when there is a second adult (usually a parent, step-parent, grandparent or guardian) with whom you share primary responsibility for your child.

If there are two contacts, all emails and mailings will go to both contacts. In case of urgent need, the person filling out the form will be notified first.

Section B: Student Enrollment Information
We believe that financial limitations should not get in the way of a child receiving a Jewish education. We ask that every family commits to some financial contribution; however we will discuss financial aid options for any family who needs it. If you select yes, you will discuss your payment ability in a confidential meeting with Rabbi Israel.

Families who enroll by June 30, 2023 will have the $50 registration fee applied to tuition.

I hereby authorize the Staff of Tikvat Israel, including the Classroom Teacher, to obtain emergency medical care for my child(ren) in the event such care is indicated. Learning Commitment

At Tikvat Israel Congregation, we are committed to lifelong Jewish learning. The combined Kindergarten-1st Grade class will meet every Sunday, except for holidays, from 9:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. at Tikvat Israel. We expect parents/guardians to assist their children in getting the most out of this joyful Jewish learning experience by making every effort to have your child(ren) arrive on time and to stay for the entire 1.5 hour class each week. We do not expect perfect attendance; however, too many absences can be detrimental to the whole class. Learning opportunities will be available for parents throughout the school year to enhance parent/guardian Jewish knowledge and give parent/guardians the tools to incorporate into their home life what each child is learning in the classroom.

By checking this box, I confirm I have read, understand and agree to the above.
Media Release

From time to time your child’s photo may be taken in our classrooms or special events.  We use these photos in the synagogue newsletter, on our synagogue display boards, the Tikvat Israel website, social media and promotional items.

Section D: Congregation Community

The work of raising and educating Jewish children cannot be done in the school alone, but is a project of the school, the family and the community.  When you come in the building and spend time learning and volunteering with us, you make a powerful statement to your children that Jewish learning is a lifelong process and that we are all on the same team in creating these experiences for them.

Would you consider supporting our school in an ongoing role or a limited engagement?

Section E: Payment Information

Both parents/guardians and Tikvat Israel work in financial partnership to cover the costs of running a religious school. The financial expectation for families is $750 per year per child. Payments can be broken up in half. A $50 per child non-refundable registration fee is required. Families who register their child(ren) by July 31, 2023 will have the deposit credited toward the total cost.
